This poor little chick with such a will to live... not sure I can help it... can I?

That right leg looks badly deformed, I think if I was in your situation I would cull humanely unfortunately. :( Sweet little guy but I don't think you can fix this problem through simple splints. Otherwise I'd say splint him up and nurse him by hand.

Please look at the video... somethings definitely amiss... 😥 not sure what else to do. Fed it vitamins, tried to craeully stretch out its feet so slowly with great care to notice any signs of distress or discomfort.. nothing seem to bother it.. but I’m just not sure what else I could do for the lol sweet thing .. anyone know what’s going on?

I can’t seem to upload the video....🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️😢

... I found this from someone else’s post regarding the same issue I’m gonna go ahead and try this if anybody has any insight on this procedure I’m about to embark on that be awesome!

I have since figured how to upload the video of my poor Silkie and his/her deformity, (I truly believe hands down 💯) but I think there’s issues with its feet.. they won’t straighten out or they’re backwards??? Is there ANYTHING I CAN DO FOR IT? 🤷‍♀️ Cast/sling/homemade and/or “fake-prosthetic feet”?..(.like dolphin take) until it grows into or rather, corrects its own??? Look I’m definitely not trying to spend a fortune and can’t afford to...And btw, this is also not my first rodeo with chicks, chickens, old maids, multiple breeds, VET RX rescues DYI
, (I have my own farm and hatchery of my own this is just my first with a malformed baby chick and I do not have the heart to euthanize it or cut its head off!!! or anything like that that people are telling me...however, I am willing to see if it’s got a shot it’s killing me to watch it struggle in these moments!!! Again if there’s anybody out there that has any ideas or if it is just what it is and I need to euthanize it please please please if anyone does just let me know the truth.
thank you so much and God bless!!

Here is a guide on humane euthanasia for chickens: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/ways-to-euthanize-a-chicken.68064/

Personally since it's a newborn chick I would break its neck/dislocate the spinal cord since they are so fragile and it would be quick, but the carbon dioxide method should be an easy hands-off way to do it. It's a hard thing to do for sure either way.

To me this looks as if it is unable get the feet under the belly in order to stand up. The feet look normal to me, as the toes need some time (up to 3 days) to fully straighten after hatching and Silkies have the additional toes and feathers on their feet making them look somewhat weird.

If you still want to try, form a nest with soft socks or woolly hat or similar and put it in, carefully placing the feet right under the belly. Some have a hard time hatching which can lead to swellings along the spine that will go down after a few days.

So, if you want give it a try, but see to it being well fed and watered in the mean time.
