i have a few chickens that i need help sexing....but..i cant figure out how to post a pic on this site...i have tried..and tried

...but my computer skills are sorely lacking...

..so..what i am asking is...the only way that i can post a pic is to send it in an e-mail to someone..and then they can please post the pics for me..sorry! to ask this of anyone, but i'd really like to know the sexes of these chickens, and i know all you guys are very experienced with this and would appreciate any help i can get..thanks, Wendy

If I can figure it out Wendy, I know you can! It takes a few different steps but isn't to hard to do. You need to use a photo hosting site to make it work correctly, not just your own computer pics. I use Photo Bucket along with many other people here. It's free and easy to sign up and use. You then will upload your photos that you want to share to your photo bucket account. After you've uploaded the photos you just copy and past the img. Very easy! Let me know if you need some more help with it.

Well darn! I thought maybe that would help.

My chickens are a long story. That's why I've included a link to my post beside my plea for prayers for them. Thanks for asking and thank you for your prayers! With any luck this nightmare will be starting to end soon.

my gosh Gumpsgirl!...what a sad story!!..i hope things are getting better??....and also a BIG lesson learned for me!..i will always quarantine my new birds from now on!! ((what a nightmare you have been through!))....i was a bit lax with it this spring..anyways..hope all is well now..and thanks for the reply to my post..

Yep! Things are getting a bit better soon, but I'm still going to loose some which I do realize. Im not looking forward to the work ahead of me either.

It's been a long road so far, but one that is still much longer to go. In the end, it will be one very big and hard lesson learned.

okay..i'm going to try to use the upload feature...so..here is a cockoo maran about 5 weeks old......aww!! forget it!..lol..

..what do i do now?..i have uploaded the pic to byc site...and clicked on "my uploads"...now what?..there is no box that says "add to post" or anything...??...

redhen, let me explain how I always do it. Maybe it will help. Once you sign up for a photobucket account, follow the instructions on that site to upload the pics from your computer to your photobucket album. Once the pics have uploaded you will be automatically redirected to your album. Under each pic in your album you will see 4 different codes. Copy the code that says 'IMG' and then head on over here to BYC and paste it into a post here. Once you preview the post the pic should show up. Hope that helps.
