This rooster is aggressive!

We are starting to wonder why this lil' guy is taking his aggression out on the human help! He attacked my mother, son and now my daughter....we're not definite on the breed just yet so we can't distinguish if it's just their nature or if there is an underlying matter(?) What do you think?

Bad behavior, but he sure is a handsome guy. I hope you kids are not too little, or else he could really hurt them. If you can pick him up and carry him around that can help teach him to be more submissive. If he is too flighty for that then it gets more difficult to teach him manners.

looks like a black minorca. I don't know if its an aggressive breed.

Handsome, yes. Well behaved, no! He has a reputation to pick on the other 6 to show 'em who runs the coop but when it came to us he always kept his distance. Extremely flighty and super skiddish. Should we still try to handle him or are there other ways?​

He's magnificant! What a beauty! I have 4 roosters and one that is also aggressive. It got to the point that he was chasing all of us, the kids, hubby and me! I spoke to another chicken keeper and she said she had read that you should pop them on top of the head (I don't mean really hard by the way) a couple of times because that's what they do to each other, sort of like a fast tap. So........one day I was out there and sure enough he started coming at me, probably the most aggressive I had seen him, so I did it, popped him on the head a couple of times, but he still kept coming. I then started growling like a chicken does (I know.....this is getting ridiculous) only a lot louder than a chicken and that rooster RAN LIKE THE WIND!! I was chasing him around the yard, growling and clapping my hands for a good 5 minutes and that rooster hasn't come near me since! God only knows what my neighbors are thinking! But it worked!
