Hi y'all,
So, i joined this site at in 2020, and i really enjoyed it, but eventually I moved on bc i had no baby chicks and my parents wouldn't let me do any hatching. I forgot about it completely for years, but just now I got bored and decided to check it out again. Wow. It is unreally nostalgic. Is it really 2023? so little has changed in this little world compared to my life it is so weird. It is like a window back to 2020. Crazy. Has anyone else had this experience?

Welcome back! I check in here regularly but my life has changed in huge ways the last three years. Lots of hardships and grief and health issues along the way but we are here, still breathing, thanks to an amazing Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It may have had a lot of trials, but the last few years has taught us a lot and we are pulling out of these hard times.

And I guess the thing is, chickens don't really change much!
I mean, have you ever seen one using an iPad?
But I do agree, and I think that is what I like so much about this site, it goes back to basics much more than anywhere else.

I never wanna see a chicken using an ipad, that would be the day we know we are doomed. lol
The ppl who run BYC figured out what was important for chicken keepers in the 2000s and it is relatively timeless ig
