CoopCrazy: It's not my first time, i have processed about... Maybe 18-20 birds in my life now (not so mutch some of you may think, but i'm only 18 years old and started to try to process my own meat first time in the summer 2009). And all during the year 2009-2010. It's still hard sometimes to think about that - "I killed that chicken..."

... But then i start to think about the poor broilers in the chicken meatindustri and then I start feeling better.

Then we hope that you accept and will possibly make use out of this tip.

Great technique. Thanks for taking the time and effort to not only describe, but to document the harvest as well. I find it intrusive that the government has written laws that are forced to the home butcher... But to be truthful, the stun and chop you did was flawless and certainly effective. Thanks

Tack för videon! Det var mycket informativ.

Jag tog ett år av svenska på universitetet och är gift med en svensk, hans familj bor i Stockholm.

I'm with the poster who said - if I were being killed, I'd rather be knocked unconscious and then have my head chopped off, rather than be conscious and hung upside-down with slit arteries, bleeding to death. The head doesn't die until the oxygenated blood is gone from it.

Linkoso, what kind of axe do you use?
