Uh oh! The tornado I saw landing ripped the roof right off the local Fred's. Luckily noone was hurt, and that was all the damage done.

Well after watching it rain all day yesterday, amazingly it is snowing here now. I don't think I have ever seen such a strange weather change in my whole life. It went from tornado's to a couple feet of rain and now its snowing like crazy.

Line crews are heading out to NY tonight.
hubby is gettting ready as we speak.
they are expecting major outages as teh wind forces its way into the state.
fingers crossed it will be a needless trip.

Rather glad that we do not have any wind right now. With all the snow we would have drifts up to the roof of the house.

We get a finger coming down out of the clouds once in a while, but if one does touch down it is rare to see it. Not a lot of people around.

wind in ny was so bad it flipped over my dogs Igloo around the yard!! luckily he's a st. bernard and wasn't in it.
