This year's eggs Update:Damsel on nest

The chick still hasn't pipped. How long will they move and everything before they start to pip? The egg still moves but maybe a bit less than it was yesterday. Do I need to add more humidity? I have both trays almost all the way full so I think there should be enough humidity. I just thought it would have pipped by now...Maybe not I know it can take them a while...Today is day 26 maybe tonight it will pip?

The one peachick that I hatched rocked then rested before pipping. Maybe it was getting into a good position to start.

our just hatched a few hours ago we are having nasty storms so debbie will post pics once storms move thoght.it does seem to have curled toes right now will this fix it's self or should we do something.hhe is only like 3hrs old.we think sp yellow with a few dark spots on back an neck

I had to remove lots of water from the incubator because I had too much in there...Less is better and also so is more surface area so I made the water shallower and a minute ago I candled it and saw the peachick move, then I heard some tapping noises but no peeping. If it wouldn't have been for JenniferB on the UPA forum I wouldn't have done all this great stuff that makes me feel better and less water should be really great for my humidity! I just hope the peachick doesn't run out of air...I have no idea how long it can be in there before it uses up all the air before it pips. Lets hope it is on its way!

Your doing fine, soon it should pip and then before you know it, your little chick will arrive. It has a while before it runs out of air. Don't panic yet.
