I just realized that my rooster somehow broke a spur off. It's down to about 1/2" now. The remaining part of the spur has dried blood on it, but doesn't seem to be bothering him at all.
Do I need to treat it with neosporin or anything?
Just yesterday we were talking about how we need to trim his spurs. Guess he saved us the trouble on one of them.

Nah, he'll be fine.

If I remember right, you can grasp the Spur by the shaft and rotate and the entire outer "shell" can come off without damaging/hurting the Roo. Soooo, if Thor Broke his off, it shouldn't be much worse than that?
I am basing this on what I've seen and watched though, I've never tried it personally.... Good Luck!!

Well, I'm going to leave that one alone now since he already took care of it himself. We'll be taking the dremel tool to the other soon.

Take the dremmel to both, you wouldnt want him walking around lopsided now would you? I forget is it cool to have only one spur on the right or left foot, and if its on the wrong foot, what will that say about THOR?

That's just so wrong MC, on so many levels. So, let me ask you...which foot do you have your spur on?
