Fine, Auntie S! if you don't like the rainbow toe socks and you don't appreciate my horticultural achievements...we just will have to send letters quarterly!

lmaooo.
The only time I really like those type of letters are when it's from my great aunt Pauline. She is one of those marvelous with words people that make picking her nose sound so fasinating!
And also, she has gotten so old and down with Alzheimer's that it's just a great read. Last year, she relived the depression in her letter. It hold valuable info on her perspective of how her family dealt with things we take for granted. Now, admittingly, she did leave out a few of her kids, but it was a wonderful blessing. She got new cast iron pans!
Looking at mine, hmm, wonder if I'll get some for my Christmas? lol
ahem...hint hint.. Darling Auntie S., my address is...

Dear Skand,
Here is a lovely photo of the cast iron pans I will never send you. I've selected green (for greed).
Heaven knows what you need them for.
Isn't canned ravioli microwavable nowadays?

Best Wishes,
Auntie S.

that's it! i am emancipating myself from this part of the family! i am taking my rainbow socks and wearing them my darn self. they'll make me happy while i prune my air fern.

they'll also keep me warm while i write a summary for the REST of the family on how exciting spraying chicken poop down every morning is. the color/texture of said poop and what EXACTLY it smells like will be included.

you KNOW you're going to be sorry.

p.s. you always don't send the good gifts to Skand. whatev!

Dear Missjayne,

Your right. I am indeed sorry- to hear you intend to foist your unwanted missives on to the rest of the relatives.
I'm sure they will be appalled by your "chicken poop scratch & sniffs" but not, however, surprised.

I am also disturbed that you feel I'm playing favorites. Please be assured my lack of feelings for you is unmeasurable. Feel free to ask me for whatever gifts you would like and I will do my utmost to ignore your requests.

Regards,
Auntie S.

lol.. man, you have got to be the fun-est aunt anyone could ever be given!
And yes it is, but heaven knows, I cannot afford the microwave to nuke them in!
Actually, I do have a set, and yes i do use them almost daily. Just hate the washing of them, but yes, I do wash my dishes, just don't like to do them.

LOL, Buff! I just got back in the office this morning after being out for a while. Whith the daunting prospect of an e-mail Inbox containing more than 500 unread messages, this was EXACTLY what I needed.

As always, thank you!

So I was going to start a post asking if anyone put letters "notes" in their cards and did a search-found this-
But I don't feel mine is bragging. Sssooo- I am setting myself up. Asking what you think- be gentle now! Here it is- sort of to "the night before christmas".

Does and kids are snuggling, in blankets of hay,
and the chickens are fed, so eggs they will lay.

We tended our Zoo creatures as best as we could,
then stirred the fires and filled them with wood.

It's our turn now, to get warm and relax.
Tracy's headed to the kitchen, to find him a snack.

There is popcorn, and candy, and cookies galore.
From the looks of it Susan's bought out the store.

The children are coming and bringing their kids.
They'll eat all the goodies, but the ones that I've hid.

We love them to come, you know very well.
Son Rob with wife Susan, Kandace(8yr) and Terrell (11yrs).

Daughter Vickie with husband Ray, Austin(12yr) and Macy (17 mo.)
When we all get together it gets kinda crazy.

For those that don't know-We finially tied the knot.
Tracy and Susan got married while it was still hot.

In the pasture- it was- that we sealed our fate,
on August 30, 2008!!

That's all for now, we just wanted to say-

Hope you have a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Years Day!!

Edited to make corrections..
