Your Barred Rock has such a sweet expression! It’s hard to believe that she’s kin to my lunatic BR (current avi pic).

I find it so funny how they look either adorable or demonic and there is no in between for barred rocks

When they were young- trying to get a photo of one drinking water after hatching- and of course it looks like chickens are fused together.

Would have been a great photo- if the one didnt butt-bomb the photo.

Mine got that in between thing going on. Meet Billy-Jo, Betty-Jo, and Bobby-Jo. My 3 BR girls I hatched this year. Their Mom Nibbler is out back mad as anything because we have rain about to roll in.

I asked my daughter how many chickens were in this picture. She stared for a bit and finally guessed 3 but she wasn't sure. Now she can't stop laughing at the picture.
