I have 3 sportsmans on a regular table.. they are about 31 inches off the floor.. another 6 inches higher would be ok for me.

I made a drawer that completely fills the area in the bottom of one sportsman.. I put rolling drawer glides on each side so I can pull it out like a kitchen drawer.. there is no room for the chicks to climb out and down the sides or back..

once in awhile one will drop down in the front..

I put the drawer in only for the hatching days..
