Whiting true blues are not a breed, they're merely a branch of Easter-eggers bred to specifically lay blue eggs rather than the blue, green, brown, etc. that the average EE might lay. WTBs exhibit a variety of appearances including that shank color and comb type, so they can't really be ruled out here.

OP, where did you get this bird? Origin helps a lot when determining the potential breed or hybrid of a bird. From what I can see, he's some kind of Easter-egger, but may have a more specific hybrid name. 🙂
