I candled eggs and one looked almost clear with dark dots that didn't move so I took it out and broke it open to find a fully grown chick alive 😥. I felt so bad but even when I poked it through the air cell it didn't move and when I took it out I only moved a bit. Wlhly didn't it move qnd why did the egg look dead

If you see any dark dots in an egg while candling, I suggest you put it back under the hen or back in the incubator, whatever your using. That's what I did, and some of my eggs that I thought were dead hatched just because I didn't want to experience what happened to you. I can't explain to you why the egg looked dead, but I can show you this image of what an egg will look like when candling but really be a fertile egg. (Ignore the text above)

I hope this helps you.

But that's the thing it didn't look like any of these the other 3 did but that one didn't for some reason 🤷‍♀️

Artist interpretation, all the blank space was clear and the dots were light brown and were still but then I opened it and found a baby poor thing it was so sad

Was the part with thetwo dots in it lighter or the part with no dots in it lighter?
