Hi, I'm matt I've got 14 birds. 4 new hampshire red hens and one rooster, 1 blue cochin hen, 1 golden laced rooster, 1 white crested polish rooster, 1 unknown white rooster, 1 welsummer hen, 1 royal palm turkey all of those were born in March. I've got 1 white serama rooster and his two unknown bantam girls. Then the first one a unknown 2 year old rooster. I just started birds in march still pretty new to me. This forum has helped many times already. I'm sure I'll be asking some questions later.

Welcome to BYC! Just post whatever questions you may have on the forum and I'm sure you'll get lots of replies. We are here to help. I also recommend perusing BYC's learning center as there is a lot of useful information on it. And if you would like your unknown white rooster identified, just post a pic (full body profile showing legs and tail), and we can probably ID him for you. Good luck with your flock.

Yeah I'm Going To Have To Agree With The Last Statement. I'm going to separate the cochins. The serama and his girls are in there own coop although my big rooster and the turkey spend most of the day with them.i let them all out to free range every evening for 3-4 hours. Aside from the mystery white rooster they all get along the hens seem to be way more aggressive. The roosters have all figured out that the oldest one is the leader. I can mess with the hens and he doesn't care but if I go grab my turkey. He will attack me he loves his young Jake turkey (floyd). I guess for just starting out I went big!! Lol. Thanks everyone for all your support
