They are the red vertical screw in ones from QC. I used PVC pipe and a 5 gallon bucket. You tube rocks!Which type of water nipples are you using?? When you have a free moment (ya...right!) can you post a pic of it so we can see it? I only use the horizontal water nipples for that very reason. The vertical ones tend to have a dripping problem, not to mention they'll freeze up in winter months.

I got the hen house cleaned out and I didn't see any blood. I use small pine shavings on the floor and I'm sure blood would be visible. They are only in the house over night and of course in and out throughout the day for feed and water. They all seem perfectly fine. I can't help but wonder if my "cocoa" ate something that she shouldn't have. I don't think I have any toxic plants, but one never knows I suppose. Regardless, she definitely was not feeling well and I'd much rather treat this as a "confirmed" case for the week then end up in tears over a potentially preventable death.
I was researching poo pics and I saw some pictures with what looked like blood but was actually the intestinal lining and was normal. I saw something about a "float test". Does anyone know what that means?
