Thought this was a Sumatra, now I'm not so sure...

This little one came as part of a "rare breed assortment." I'm just confused as to why, if she IS a black Sumatra, she has so many light-colored feathers coming in?

do you have any comb shots? sumatras dont have straight combs, what color are the legs?

Her legs are funny; they are like a gray that turns into pink by the time it reaches where her toes separate and form her feet. They are clean (no feathers).

Here is a shot of her comb. It definitely looks straight. :/

Hi lovesgliders! When you go to insert picture, use the third icon from the right end: the rectangle picture frame. Then select Image Url and paste the url of your image in box and click submit. Repeat process for each picture.

She kinda looks like that chick (same legs, same spotty beak) but not really. I am having trouble finding good photos of Sumatra chicks online. MyPetChicken.com has some that look pretty similar to her but very different from the pic you posted.

If she is not a Sumatra, what is she?
