Ok I’ve continued to work and almost have the sub floor completed. I am attaching a photo taken this afternoon.

Subfloor is finished. I believe the plan is to lay down boards scavanged from pallets. On top of those I will glue a 10x 10 piece of linoleum

Just a status update, to anyone following this thread. I started having pain in my left arm and elbow that stopped me from moving forward on this project. Doctor diagnosis was “ tennis elbow”. Rest and physical therapy. Lord, please heal these old bones!

OhMan...that hurts and takes long time to heal up!!
Have had both tennis and golf elbow(different tendons) multiple times, it's constantly annoying and/or excruciating. Found the little air pillow with strap can really help if placed properly....but rest(don't use hand or elbow-yeah, right) and anti-inflammatories are the best bet.

The “Tennis elbow” is doing better now that I bought a supporting appliance.

I discovered that the location of my henhouse was inter fearing with the drainage of rainwater from the property. So I have begun removing the wood frame and will also remove the sunken cinder blocks. Then I will shift the location about 30 feet, to the property’s highest point. Oh well, live and learn.
