well, wish I can find a “Dr. Pol” near me. Folks around here don’t seem to keep hens as pets and don’t bring to the vet and vets around here don’t take hens. I am not sure what to do and was hoping to get some input. I have been cleaning Louise’s eye out with witch hazel with no positive results. Can some one help me? It’s swollen and does get watery. She get crud in it all the time so I clean it. She tries to see out if it esp after it’s been cleaned out. Please help. Thanks y’all!

What antibiotics do you have. It appears to be a respiratory infection.

Do you happen to have any steroid eye drops? That would help bring down the swelling.

@casportpony @azygous?
The most advice I can offer is to buy a bottle of Vetricyn rinse and use it twice a day everyday, hoping that the swelling goes away, but I suspect the people above might have better advice.
