Thoughts based on two candling pics?

My eggs look exactly like that and I am on day 4...I don't see any veins yet at all, and I have lost hope as well....Go figure, my husband is finishing building my brooder right now, but I don't think I will have anything to put in it

Don't give up! We were totally ready to toss the eggs, but now we're very excited to see what all we find tonight when we go through all 33 eggs.

Darker eggs take longer to see growth in. We didn't see any growth in our brown eggs until day 7 or 8, and that's if you look real hard. Hang in there!

I am brand new to hatching eggs.
I candled on day 7, sure I was going to see chickie growth. What I saw was a blob in each and couldn't see any veins. I was dissappointed and figured none were fertile. Since my banty cochins were hatching them, I decided to let them have them for a few more days and I would check again just to be sure.
At day 14 the dark mass had grown, the air sac larger and more distinct and all signs pointed to little chickies growing.
I am so glad I didn't go with my first impression and toss the eggs...glad I waited and checked at day 14!!!

We checked all 33 eggs last night, and every single one has a moving, squirming chick inside!

Time to get started on a brooder that'll fit them all. Anyone have any suggestions/designs they'd recommend?

What day are you on? Trying to figure out when I should see movement....

My husband just built one and we used the plans from on this website under coop designs, then scroll down to Brooders....We built the one called "The Brooder Pen"...it seems to be the best design on this website.....You can also use just a plastic rubbermaid bin, which is what I did last year when I had purchased a few 2 day old chicks...

Today is Day 12, so we're approx. halfway through!

Going into Lockdown Mode tonight!

According to our candling, all 33 eggs seem to be doing great, so we'll see what happens on our first ever incubating/hatching attempt.
