Yea that is exactly how i felt, and with only having four I wanted to give them the best possible space I could. Tomorrow ill finalize all the hardware cloth around the coop and skirted it out. Also framing the roof and attaching garden fence as a temporary roof and starting to get the girls use to the coop itself.

Glad you're going with maximum security. It's wise to never assume any predator can't climb up the side of an enclosure and enter through small holes. You would be amazed at how some of these animals can compress their skeleton to squeeze through some improbably small openings.
