Feathers are going to look super funky at this age. They're losing their down and getting in their feathers. Right now you want to look at the comb and wattles. Boys will develop much more quicker than females. They will have bigger and redder combs and wattles.

EE feathers are also pointier than other breeds, so they can get confusing sometimes. But yes, comb and wattles right now.
