Thoughts on our first time winterizing???

We are planning to get snow on Wednesday/Thursday in Ohio. We have used a tarp… greenhouse plastic and very top a shower curtain.. it’s what we had.. I’d rather use what we have then buy everything new to use. I was planning on taking the pools out and keeping the front open.. any thoughts?

As long as the open area is away from the prevailing winds, all should be good. Allowing access to the pools on moderate days throughout the winter helps keep them happy.

I never thought about that.. we live in Ohio, everything is unpredictable.. one day it’s 90° and sunny the next it’s a blizzard! Most times the winds are east and west. But I may get more tarps if the winds come from the south.
