Thoughts on this DIY?

Ok next question about ventilation and roof type. I prefer the single slant visually but will worry it might become a grand wind scoop in one if our many wind storms.

In my mind it would scoop the up to 35mph+ winds and turn the inner coup in to a wind tunnel. But then again if there is an equal area of escape on the far side would it create low pressure and just create wind drag passing through?

Or is my over engineered mind finding issues where there is none? Islands in the ocean have no qind blocks. We have many wind storm advisories a year.

My city zoning requires it to be placed dead centre of my yard. 15' from any fence line and 9' from the hiuse. This creates zero cover. I do have 12' headges but they only stop so much when you are at the top of the tallest hill in the area.

Try to make it so the low side is facing your prevailing winds. And leave enough of an overhang that it can't swoop up through.
I had this thought as well. However that would be facing the house that is 9' was and putting low side of the slant in to the the run. With 6 months of rain a year I want to move as much away as possible.

By windreak I mean something like this. Sorry for the shakey drawing. I'm on the bus headed to the city.
