these two were given to me. I was told they were polish bantam mixes. #1 I'm positive that this one is pullet.

#2 questionable cockerel. It's sad to say but this bird looks a mess and is the biggest sissy out of all that we have. The tail feathers seem extra pointy and its comb is a lot redder and more prominate then the other bird.

Those are pretty birds.

The top one looks like a pullet and the bottom one like a roo. However, they don't seem to have large enough crests to be pure polish bantams. What age are they?

I agree you have a pair. He's just young, give him time and he'll mature and become more assertive.

I was hoping for 2 pullets. I just got rid of a rooster. Still have another and was hoping for no more. The guy who took my other rooster gave me these. Said he would switch them out again if these end up being rooster. This chicken thing has been driving me nuts! First time having them and they are all to young to lay yet.

They are definately not pure pred. Polish mixes. Not sure what they are mixed with though.
