Duct tape, really? I agree my hubby will also laugh, Duct tape is his usual solution to everything. Won't it pull out more feathers when it falls off?

If you have any fleece around, you make a quick no-sew fleece saddle. That is what I use for quickies, and it works great! Here's a few links.

The fleece is nice too 'cause it keeps them warm.

Note: It will take longer than a few days to get worked off & by then the feathers underneath should have regrown pretty well.

i would say it is the rooster, if the rooster has alot of spunk he'll do thinghs like this
