The King himself walked out from the palace, wielding a halberd with a very large Quartz blade at the top. He watched the tree carefully, but noticed no movement.

"You are too kind; bowing is not necessary." The King reassured Sri. "Hmm, I don't believe we've met. What is your name?"

He chuckled. "Well, I appreciate your manners, Sri. It's a pleasure meeting you."

The figure behind the tree emerged, and out came a ferocious, snarling Gryphon. "Who are you?" Demanded the soldiers. This Gryphon could not speak, could not stand on it's hindlimbs. It clenched it's sharp talons in the dirt and roared.

It tackled one of the soldiers, pinning him to the ground. It tried to rip his armour off, but the other soldier hurled it off of him and threatened to attack. The Gryphon roared angrily, and struck it's large paw at him. The soldier hit him with the spear, cutting the beast's skin and causing it unbearable pain. It ran back to the Citadel, yowling through the woods.

*Sri stared at it retreating and said to herself that she had to get one of those spears then she went to see of the soldier whose armor has almost been torn off just in case he was hurt*

The soldier struggled, but got up. "Thank you Sri, I am fine. I must resume my duties as gate guard." He walked back to the gate and stood, wondering what that Gryphon was here for...

The King thought for a moment. "I wonder what they're up to this time..." He muttered, walking back to his palace. Before arriving at the palace, he stopped and saw Oulí. "Hello, who are you?"
