Thread for "natural/pantry" remedies and cures for chickens and other poultry

Hi, do any of you have tried or know natural products or products that most people probably have at home that one can give to sick poultry in emergency? Or to strenghen their immunity system and prevent diseases? I only know about garlic . Any other ideas?

All they really need is a good feed and plain clean water.
Sorry but, most the "natural/pantry" items touted all over the chicken forum world are speculative snake oil and can cause more problems than they will ever prevent.
