I went to a large swap meet once when I was looking for BCMs, and noticed many cross beak and sickly chickens. Some people are honest and have healthy birds at swaps. Not only will some people bring sick chickens or carriers to swaps, those birds can expose someone else's birds who were healthy before. I walked away, and finally found a friend nearby who raised them.
