Reese is our 6 month CCX pullet.
She has become quite an experienced layer in the past several weeks.
We have gotten double yoljers out of her on several occasions!
The night before last my daughter brought Reese inside for her bath (she still gets bathed and loves it).
We got unexpected company and wound up skipping her bath. Yesterday morning we awoke to a beautiful egg in her "bedroom" (Reese sleeps in living room under an end table on a blanket when she's in house)!
Yesterday afternoon, about an hour after her bath, Reese just casually laid an egg at my feet and chittered a little bit. It was a very jelly soft shell, so I figured the warm bath kind of help drop it early.
This morning she laid another beautiful egg in the middle of the living room floor and danced around to get our attention...
Not quite 30 minutes later she laid yet another egg (softer shell, but not real soft)!!
Has anyone else ever seen a pullet lay so many eggs in such a short time?
