I hatched three chicks just over a week ago from three eggs given to me for eating (I decided Id see if I could hatch them) I have no idea what breeds they are any one have any idea?

these are the eggs they were all fairly large

chick 1. hatched from the white egg at the top, my favorite out of the lot :)

chick 2. from the dark brown egg

possibly cuckoo or barred colour?

chick 3. from the large blue egg

cream legbar?

There is no guarantee these chicks are pure at all as I have no idea where they are from but I just wondered if anyone knew :)

1- Buff leghorn
2- Cuckoo Marans
3- lavender EE or ameruacana

Just a guess

The third one could be a cream legbar as well.

# 3 is not barred and therefore not a pure Cream Legbar (if it were it would be a boy and you would see a splotchy white spot atop his head and the little stubby primaries would show barring--girls have a very clear 'V' atop their head).

Laurenhill, given you are in England, I think Araucana or Araucana cross is most likely. I am not aware of other blue egg laying breeds there (besides the Cream Legbar, of course). Can you tell what kind of comb it has? The color is diluted and my best guess is Lavendar which I believe is a legitimate color for British Araucanas

They are all sure cute!

Here is a picture of a female Cream Legbar (on top of the stuffy) and a roo CL below. The roos can be quite a bit lighter colored than this one and appear more 'blue' but they all should have that headspot--much like the Cuckoo Marans chick in your second photo.

So my first guess was more right.

3 looks like it might be an easter eggers. Definatley not an ameraucana, has a single comb and yellow legs :).
