Three silkie hens need a home in Wyoming

Thank you dehowery for all the info (also thanks to R2elk for info). I can't tell you how I appreciate your interest in the silkies. You obviously care and if you were closer, I'd be thrilled. I just feel there is so much involved and the whole process would be difficult on them. I have decided to keep trying for someone nearby. I am also prepared to keep them through the winter. We are set up for them and they are content. All is well. Again thank for so much.

Are your silkies still looking for a new home? Our coop is pretty full right now, but my neighbor across the road might be interested. I'll ask and get you two in touch with eachother if they are still available.

Hi rodeorulz,
Thank you for your response. I found a gal outside of Sheridan who is willing to take them now or later. Her chickens free range on her property. Two of my little hens have gone broody too i should mention. I have about decided to keep them through the winter and then look at moving them in spring. Thank you again.

Thank you for getting back to me. Should something not end up working out with the gal in Sheridan let me know and I'll check with my neighbor.

Have a great day!

Thank you. I definitely would get back to you if the other were to fall through. I've been a bit concerned about moving them with cold weather just about here. I'm new to chickens and admit I'm learning but it seems re-homing might be hard in winter...though I don't know. Would be interested in yours or anyone's thoughts on that. I do feel confidant things will work out. I've really enjoyed this site. So many who seem to love their birds, whatever they be.

I'm needing to find a new home for three silkie hens. They are white and the sweetest. I bought all at Murdoch's this year in February. All three are laying. I could deliver anywhere in the Douglas, Casper, or Sheridan area in Wyoming.
I will happily take them. do you still have them?
