We have a 3yo marans hen and a 3yo faverolles hen. They're both in good shape, laying eggs, eating and drinking. The marans has splashy, watery brown poo with no visible sign of worms, the faverolles has normal poo. Their run is dry. They eat Kalmbach layer and some Kalmbach scratch. They get a bit of probiotic daily. They free range 1-2 hours per day. Nobody is sneezing, no watery eyes. They did have a slice of homemade sourdough bread last night. She has had loose stools on and off for a couple of weeks. We recently removed a flock block from the coop because they were over eating it and ignoring their food. The marans is super downy and fluffy and she does drink a lot because she's warm.
I don't have a nearby chicken vet to do a stool sample. Should I worm them, just in case? What else could it be?
Thank you for any help! We're moving littles into the coop and I don't want to start dealing with a bunch of sick babs, too
