"Threesome"??

Hi - Something strange happening in my coopI have 6 hens (2 laying) and 1 little Bantam roo (he's soooo cute!). What I've seen twice now is that when he mounts a hen, my other (biggest) hen will jump on top of both of them and try to do "rooster stuff" too. Very bizarre! "She" is not laying (but not crowing either), so I'm wondering if maybe I have yet another rooster? She's about 24 weeks old.

You could post a picture of the one in question, so that maybe someone can tell you.

Pictures? If there are no roos in the enclosure with them, sometimes the dominant hen will act as the roo.

I am by no means an expert, but I'm pretty sure those are saddle feathers and that is a boy.

But NO crowing at all - and at least 20 weeks old, possibly 24?? I had 2 other roosters (one younger and one same age) that both first crowed at least 4-6 weeks ago

Yup that's definitely a cockerel. Some roosters just crow later. Especially if there are two cockerels and one is less dominant.
