"Sure." Bennie walked over to Blackie, and started warming him up

"Okay, thanks, I have to go put my silks on so if you need me I'll be in the jockey room." Charlotte said as she walked off into the crowd and into a door labeled jockey's only.

Bennie watched as the stallion responded correctly to all of her sounds and movements.

Charlotte quicly changed into her silks, pulled on her tall boots, and put her hair in the net and strapped on her helmet. She smiled and ignored the jealous stares from other jockeys, as she was riding the best horse in the race and everyone knew it. She walked out and looked around for her large, black horse.

Bennie calmly watched the stallion as she heard Charlotte's approach.
