Thrown into owning chickens kicking and screaming

My GOOD FRIEND gave my 10 year old twins 4 baby chicks the end of March! Now I have 4 8 week old Road Island Reds Still living in my laundry room! I have started building them a coop but not quite done YET!!!! My problem is I still can't tell if they are girls or boys!!!! Can anyboby give me a hint?????
