Our hens have been laying about 3 eggs a day for a few weeks. Yesterday afternoon, we had a strong storm come through and today we only got one egg! Can thunderstorms effect their egglaying?

Not sure where you are located but my hens have been going through an early moult. Also some of these temp swings we are getting (heat wise) can cause the hens to slow or stop also.

I got a couple of rubber eggs after a thunderstorm during which the chickens were caught outside for a short time in a my dog-kennel tractor. They were sheltered but still got frightened by the wind and rain and racket.

Wow..that's awesome
