Hi there, I have a polish hen who was exhibiting symptoms of a possible respiratory infection. Lots of nasal discharge but nothing else? She was with another polish who unfortunately passed from severe symptoms of a respiratory infection (nasal discharge, crackling, eye bubbles and wry neck) but I’m not sure if I should give her tiagaurd or if this will get better on its own with some poultry cell, vet rx and some electrolytes. If I do give her tiagaurd how much should I give and what’s the egg withdrawal like?

Here is a good thread to read all the way through on Tiagard, which is tiamulin, the same as Denagard:

It basically says that dosage is 2 ml per quart (4 ml per gallon,) or as high as 15 ml per gallon. 15 ml is a 1/2 ounce.
