I have been addicted to them since 1978 and my first one acquired/it acquired me! in 1980. I think its the most beautiful breed in dogdom but I'm prejudiced
I just snapped off a couple of cell phone pics of my 5 yr old retired champion male in the yard he has had to recently share with the Narangansett turkeys (and one lavender slate). He is superb with the chickens as well as all the other stock, cattle, goats, horses. He loves the baby chicks too! His name is Mugz and he is black/tan sire of my golden TM avatar, Rio.
Ace, it was NOT about your writing though sequentially, it probably did look that way. It was about the writer whose negative comments all the time, despite their qualifications as an ex-spurt, gets a little tiring after a while! I think education is fine and absolutely necessary so we can all learn, but there are two ways to deliver evaluations. One in a positive light so others learn by it and not instantly turn off to negativity. Or two, by slamming, offering up negative remarks that make a person cringe. Its called learning how to teach!! If ya can't teach but have the knowledge, go learn from some pros, how to deliver that knowledge so you aren't labeled a grouch or the grinch
.
Glad you are an ace at math, Ace, I suck at math ROFL.....but am good at other stuff
Thanks Ace, I am addicted to them and now its the darn chickens too

I've often wondered how many dog show people are on this forum.
Chicken conformation isnt a far cry from dog conformation--save with chicken shows you don't have to worry about finding that perfect suit that sets off the color of all the dogs you are showing LOL.
Beautiful pups! TM's are gorgeous dogs!
While my Dobe is my profile pic, admittedly you will normally find me in the toy group
