Tibetan Mastiffs

I LOVE Chinese crested! While working at the Olympia shelter (20 + years!) we would get them in now and then due to a crazy old lady that milled them, but her friends would talk her out of several dogs at a time and we would get them and even with not so great raising, and probably little to no socialization they were FANTASTIC little guys. I haven't met one yet that didn't have a fine temperament. We placed several, and the powderpuffs were great dogs too. I feel sorry for the hairless ones in this hideous climate here in PNW.... So cold for so many months for the little guys.

I thnk the most beautiful pup I have ever seen was an 8 week old CC pup being picked up at the airport, it was white with a black mohawk, and its little face looked like a seahorse or something. Anyway, I fell in LOVE!

I have one small dog, a 10 year old Patterdale terrier, the LOVE OF MY LIFE... She runs the pack around here, as you with little dogs may well imagine!

Wanted to share a couple cute pics of a litter of min pin cross pups I recently raised for Seattle Purebred Dog REscue. The mom was pulled from a shelter and had pups 3 days later in my laundryroom on the eve before Thanksgiving. She was a wonderful mom and those pups were cute!

OK, wait. . . I got confused which forum I was on. I belong to BYC and also Chinese Crested CRUSH and when I saw your signature bagendhens, I thought I was on CRUSH, not BYC! I forgot I'm in Other Pets & Livestock thread! Are you also on CRUSH? Well anyway, since we're showing picures. . .

Bolddog, BEAUTIFUL athletes with eyes full of intelligence! I love that!! You've got gorgeous dogs there and I love any of the bully breeds! I just can't handle the short coat because the hair is stiff and actually makes my skin break out and itch if they sit on my foot, or lay up against me. Weird, I know!

Bolddog, bless you for rescuing!

I adore your Patterdale, and its such a wonderful breed. :yaThank goodness breeders haven't ruined it yet. Another breed I love is the Pumi (a small herding breed with a coat similar to the Poodle), hasn't yet been ruined.

I love Chinese Crested!! they are so elegant, such ethereal faces!! I love the both the hairless and puff but admit I like the Puff head a bit better with a better set of teeth

Pups are now 5 days old, almost all are over 2 lbs except the little mahogany colored girl, she just does NOT like a *nipple*, preferring the real thing (her mommy's faucets). She's still around 1.5 lbs., but that's ok, as long as she is healthy.

Seabreeze you just don't know how it warms my old, cynical dogcatcher heart to hear that you have homes lined up (and I don't doubt it with the animals you are breeding!)... Seems that nowadays the only way people think of getting rid of their pups is on Craig's List!!!!!!!!!!!

I just can't wait to see how your babies progress...

Oh, those powderpuff CC as THE MOST! So elegant.

I hear you on the hair... while I really prefer short haired dogs, some of the staff at the shelter would break out in red splotches if they touched a chinese shar pei.

Off to care for chickies... have a great one you guys.

Your little guy made me laugh! He's too cute and your little girl is oh so feminine and pretty. I am also planning on adding one more to my pack in the near future. Kinda like chickens, the more you have the more you want! Four will be my limit on the cresties.....I think.
