Tick current feeding

Hi All,

I picked up Rufio my young rooster yesterday, and noticed that right about his eye is a tick, slightly engorged and feasting on my poor little guy's blood. The whole flock is pretty good at keeping the tick population down, but nothing is perfect. There's really no way for me to get it out. I don't want to take tweezers to his face and risk poking him in the eye. Should I just leave it and hopefully it will get eaten when it falls off?

They really do work.....even for the tiny little seed ticks.

They can be bought online or I've also found them at some local drugstores. There is a store locator on the website.

Grab it at the base, right up against the skin, using a tissue and pull without squeezing the tick.
