Ticks, I have found 3 in 3 weeks!

Ticks! Gross! I can check my dogs and cat but not my chickens. What can I put down in my yard that will not harm my chickens and ducks? Last summer was my first year with chickens and in the past I have always used Eliminator, flea and tick spread. Will this harm my chicks? I have a few that get out of the run no matter what I do.

I recommend guinea fowl. Nature's best tick control!

i had ticks and no guineas.......now i have guineas and no ticks, or grasshoppers or any other nasty bugs.....they are great little birds to have around.....very energetic and a blast to watch and give great eggs in the spring.....
