Ticks???

Daughter found a dog tick in the yard today, and though I've searched, I can't find any info. on whether my ducks are at risk...

Well, I don't know about ducks, but guineas and chickens search out and eat ticks....

I have 3 chickens (2 roo's & 1 hen) I inspected them carefully today, and found nothing. I've noticed when turning stuff over in the yard that while the ducks eat most bugs, they just ignore arachnids. I was kind of hoping that the oils on their feathers would deter parasites...

It depends on the tick...Ducks can get Tick fever....
