Natalya seemed surprised, then the earthquake stopped.

Aatu looked down at Natalya and smiled.

She hardly paid any attention, and she stepped out. "Everyone alright?" She called.

"Yeah, we're all here." Tuscon walked to her, the other guards getting out of their hiding.

"Oh, thank god." Natalya gave a sigh of relief. "Anyone hurt?"

"No- I was a little, cause I was trapped." Blood showed through his shirt.

"Oh my god!" Natalya gasped.

"It's fine." Tuscon reassured her.

"...okay..." she didn't seem convinced. "Get someone to start fixing the gates, anything else broken?"

"No."

"Okay, good. Someone please start fixing the gates, I need to go speak with Turouna." And with that, she shot off.

Aatu went back to his room, relieved that everyone was alright.

 

[TechnoCat]

Turouna and Natalya's voices could be heard.

"Anyone hurt?"

"No." Natalya responded.

"Okay- I need those gates fixed fast, before The Shadow notices they're open."

"I've already got my guards working on it."

"Good; and keep them from arguing."

Natalya laughed. "Will do, sir." And then her voice was not heard anymore.

Aatu laid down on his bed, about to fall asleep.

 

[TechnoCat]

Natalya's wail could soon be heard.

Tuscon was lying on the bridge, and wouldn't wake up.

Aatu rushed to her. "What happened??"

 

[TechnoCat]

"He won't wake up!" She wailed, kneeling next to him.

Aatu checked Tuscon for a pulse.

 

[TechnoCat]

But there wasn't one.

Natalya's eyes were filled with tears, she was shuddering violently. She leaned down and kissed Tuscon's forehead gently.
