"Jao! Mistress Shadow would like to see you." Terrik called.

Jao looked up, perking his ears slightly. He rose to his paws and nodded to Terrik, "Lead the way."

 

[TechnoCat]

Terrik entered a tall, narrow cave, lit by an eerie blue light. "Mistress. I have brought the one you requested." He lowered his head.
Her face partially covered by the darkness, The Shadow came out. "Jao. I hear good things about you."

"I'm pleased to hear that, Shadow." He replied, facing her boldly. His face betrayed nothing, not fear, nor arrogance. "I have come requesting to be tried, and given a rank within your forces."

 

[TechnoCat]

The Shadow's head raised slowly, in acknowledge. "You will be assesed by Terrik." She drawled.

Jao inclined his head towards Terrik and gave a slight nod.

Terrik dipped his head.
*time-skip to arena*

The Shadow turned to both of them. "Terrik, you cannot use your wings, due to the fact Jao has none. No killing. Begin!"

(Then can I have some kind of advantage, like a "power" of some sort too?)

Jao stepped back from Terrik to get a better look at his opponent. His face was carefully neutral, eerily calm, his cool green eyes narrowed slightly.
