time limit on eggs in refrig.

how long can you keep eggs in a frig. at 40deg. so they will be safe to eat.

I've read 3 months, or longer if they have higher humidity.
I think I read it in Storey's Guide To Raising Chickens.
 
The longest I've kept eggs in the fridge and still eaten them was four months. I think Mother Earth News made it to six months in the experimentation they did.

The eggs will be thin and watery and with huge air cells but they were still safe to eat.

But do crack each on into a bowl first. No point in losing the entire thing because one of them went bad.
