Time of day

Is there a certain time of day that button quail will lay their eggs?

Mine seem to lay later in the day. They don't lay in the early morning because I don't find fresh eggs in the morning when they get their morning mash. I've checked as late as 10 am on weekends. I normally check around 4-5 pm. So they lay some time between 10 am and 4 pm. But I don't know if that is normal.

LoL, mine do it after 3pm. Sometimes I get one egg before, but mainly in late afternoon

Mine were laying between 5 & 8:30pm when I still had them indoors. Now they lay between 2 & 6pm.
