Time of posts?

Apparently "the System," whoever or whatever that may be, knows the post is there, but just has not yet gotten around to actually posting it. I imagine a harried telephone operator from years of yore mumbling, "Keep your shirt on, I'll get to you in a minute!" as she plugs and unplugs wires in an octopus-looking tangle of wires.

You know, that's pretty much exactly what I envisioned as well. Probably isn't far from the truth as to what is going on. Computers can only do 1 thing at a time, they just do it REALLY fast so it seems like they multi task. If you get enough people all posting at once there is a good chance that there will be some queuing of the data as it posts them one at a time.

I don't know if info about this is still needed, but I just had it happen again. It changed from "In a moment" to "A moment ago" after about thirty seconds. I didn't reload and didn't go to a different tab. Don't know if this means that it's fixed, but thought it may be helpful

I had this with my text messages with my iPhone 6. It would say in 1 minute and by the time it crashed it would say in 2 minutes or 3 minutes.

Has anyone else had this happen, where a post says 'In a moment' for the time where it's been posted? Is it supposed to have the future thing?

I got a "in 4 minutes" one the other day. I laughed.

This has been happening to me recently. I think it started happening in the past few weeks, but I'm not sure. I was thinking it has something to do with my internet connection?

Anyways, I really don't mind, just thought I'd share. I think it's funny when it says "in three minutes"
