Time to Build Permanent Coop!!!

The painting has taken way longer then expected. Didn’t get to work on the coop last couple weeks. Finally started up again yesterday! Spent half the day running around getting roof material and new windows. Ran into a problem with the existing windows I had, so I had to swap them out last minute. Good thing it happened before I put the siding on. Put in the truss blocks and windows yesterday. Going to work on the roof toady.

yeah, triple paint time, just like you would triple the cost of the coop, if you plan painting the entire thing, not just the frame work!

Two coats of primer and two coats of paint! Only way to go!

Thanks to all the Veterans out there! I truly appreciate your service! Because of you we all get to live free and raise chickens in our back yards!!! Oh, and I get the day off to put in some more work on the new coop! Hoping to finish the last two roof panels and start the siding on the coop!!! Stay tuned.....

Well, got a lot done today!!! All the roof panels are done!!!! Almost finished the siding!! Was 1 price short. It’s getting painted as I type! Will be working on a custom Cupla over the next couple days. Next will be trim and touch up painting!!! Then I will put the hardware cloth on!!! So excited, it’s all finally taking shape!!
Oh, amd I have to build a ladder for them to get inside the coop.
It never ends!
