I put mine at about (chicken) shoulder height. I use a bucket though so don't know about pressure.Got all the water in today!!! That was a chore! Anyone have advice on height for nipples (pullets and full dive hens? I have an area below coop I will use for chicks. I looked online, but I think they are too high.
Got a 30lb regulator but still seems like the pressure is too high? Any suggestions on pressure setting? I have the rent a coop water nipples.
Thanks Lemon-Drop! Do you think that’s about 10-12 inches?I put mine at about (chicken) shoulder height. I use a bucket though so don't know about pressure.
I would guess so? Maybe more like 8-10 inches, I guess it might be depends on breeds. I can try and measure tomorrow. It should just be high enough that they can peck at it without really have to reach up or bend down, I think. Thanks Lemon-Drop! Do you think that’s about 10-12 inches?
Although now that I think about it, maybe higher? I have a few silkies so I keep it lower but for standard birds it may be higher. Thanks!!
