Time to eat our eggs!

Tsk, tsk, it's a tradition in this household that I get the first eggs sunny side up on good toast. Mmm...

Scrambled is tastey too! Be the best egg (and most expensive) you ever had.

Breakfast looks yummy!

I gave my first 3, (Runner Duck eggs) to my mom last weekend. I estimate they are $300 eggs by the time I added up all the start up costs feed etc. I asked her to apply the $900 to any outstanding debt I might have with her, haha. She was not impressed but did eat the eggies, happily.

I have been lucky. The only money I have had to spend on these chickens has been a bag of feed! So, I spent $12, got 12 eggs. A buck a piece. Still expensive, but a lot less than it could have been!
